Online registration will remain open until Thursday, the 23rd August, 18:00.

After that only on-site registration, starting on Monday 27th at 8:30 will be possible.

Shuttle Information 25-27: The VLDB2018 organization will provide shuttles from the Int'l Airport Antonio Carlos Jobim to the Windsor Barra/Ocean Hotels on the 25th, 26th and 27th of August, from 5:00 to 24:00, at each full hour interval. There will be receptionists on two VLDB2018 booths at the airport receiving VLDB2018 attendees. One will be located in the baggage claim area and the other at the arrival hall. The receptionist at the arrival hall will gather groups and guide them to the shuttle.

Transport Information 18-24: The VLDB2018 organization will provide transportation from attendees arriving between the 18th and 24th of August. People arriving on these days are requested to fill in their arrival date/time-flight information at the link sent to you by the organization.

We advise VLDB participants to vaccinate against the Yellow Fever.

Despite the fact that there has not been a single Yellow fever infection in the city of Rio de Janeiro, cases have been reported in towns 100km from the city. We further call participants attention that to be effective the vaccine must be taken 10 days before their arrival to Brazil.

We would like to call the attention of VLDB2018 participants with US citizenship that a VISA is required for their entrance in Brazil.
